Are you a fan of the Mandalorian? If you’re like many people, you must be. It’s a great show that should not be missed, but unfortunately, it isn’t available worldwide.

Let’s dive into everything we loved about Season 1, what we can expect from Season 2 and how you can watch The Mandalorian from anywhere in the world.

A Glimpse Into The Mandalorian

Disney+ released The Mandalorian at the end of 2019. The platform has some of our favorite Disney classics, giving Netflix and Hulu a run for their money. Not only can you find older shows on it, but there are also several new ones being created for the platform as we speak.

From the new shows, the one that caught everyone’s attention was the Mandalorian. If you’re a Star Wars fan, you would have gone crazy over it as it featured The Child, a baby from the Yoda clan.

Season 1 revolved around him being protected by a bounty hunter, called the Mandalorian. In terms of timelines, the show takes place 5 years after the Return Of The Jedi and 25 after The Force Awakens.

What Happened At The End Of Season 1?

What we all knew was confirmed: baby Yoda is force sensitive. This was revealed by The Armorer. She tells the bounty hunter to protect him until his homeland is found or until Baby Yoda is grown up.

With this knowledge in mind, we know this will be the primary premise of Season 2.

In terms of what else happened in the finale, Mando and his team tried escaping through lava tunnels, and we saw the demise of IG-II as he sacrificed himself to save The Child from stormtroopers.

Mando faced off against Gideon (which was pretty epic), having Gideon reveal his new jet pack and dark lightsaber.

All in all, we know that Mando, Baby Yoda, Cara Dune, Greef Carga and Moff Gideon will be part of Season 2 as the end of Season 1 left us with plenty of cliffhangers.

The Mandalorian Season 2

Having taken the world by storm, Season 1 featured 8 episodes. Due to this, hosts of fans will be pleased to know that a second season is in the works.

The creator of the show, Jon Favreau took to Twitter to delight fans with the news on the day the finale aired.

Before he made the announcement that there would be a Season 2, it was common knowledge that the show would have many seasons. Favreau constantly talked about the many things that could happen in the show, especially to The Child.

We knew that filming for Season 2 began in November 2019, but we didn’t know when it would be released.

Favreau finally revealed that it would reach our screens in the fall of this year. However, we still don’t know the exact date.

Season 1 of the show started filming in October 2018 and was eventually released in November 2019. So, if we do the math, Season 2 is most likely going to come out somewhere in December of this year.

Is Disney+ Available Everywhere?

The unfortunate thing is that depending on your location, you may not be able to watch Disney+. The platform debuted at the end of last year and was only available in a handful of countries. If you live outside the U.S, Canada, The Netherlands, Australia, or New Zealand, the platform will be geo-blocked.

This is due to copyright issues and because the shows in their roster aren’t licensed by your government.

Is There A Way Around This?

The easiest way around this is to get a VPN. If you’re not aware, VPNs bounce your IP to servers across the world. As Disney+ is not available in your country, you could bounce your IP to Australia, New Zealand, or even Canada.

That being said, you can’t use just any VPN. The VPN you choose has to be extremely reliable as otherwise, Disney+ will send you a proxy error. We would recommend Nord VPN to get around this.

This will call you out for trying to hide your IP. This is because low-quality VPNs use servers that Disney+ easily has access to. So, they know what IPs to look for, and you won’t be able to access any content.
